Winemaking
This wine is a special edition to honor the shareholders in the celebration of 50 years of winery activity. This wine is inspired in the purity of Loureiro variety and its potential of aging. Is the result of a meticulous winemaking, to extract the aromatic authenticity of the grapes, and handmade harvest in vineyards with an average of 15 years, in some of the best farmers of the Adega. Starts with smooth maceration, and after decantation, the juice ferment very slowly, by the action of selected yeasts and temperature control between 16º and 18ºC. Afterwards, 40 % of the juice ends fermentation in French wood casks, new and used (250 and 600 L), where stays for 3 months. The others 60 % ferment in stainless tanks in bâtonnage. Three months later, the wine was blended with yeast lees and left on yeast lees prior to bottling.
