TASTING NOTES
Bright citric color. Fresh, young and intense aroma. Lime notes and exuberant pineapple, lively and
very, very impish!
VINEYARD
The grapes are from young plantations in Alenquer and express the variety carachter to its fullest.
Soils are neutral lime–clay with fine texture. Temperate climate with dry season in the summer, cool
nights and moderate draught. It has a small Atlântic influence but generally is a Mediterranean
climate.
2021 VINTAGE REPORT
After a warm with regular rain winter, Spring was very hot and very dry. In summer the dry weather
continued with normal temperatures for the season.
Ripening occurred normally and with careful planning we were able to obtain balanced grapes with
strong aromatic potential. Vintage unfolded between 31st August and the 9th October 2021 without
major events.
WINEMAKING
Grapes were selected for picking at it’s ripeness ideal point, Machine harvested, transported, destemed,
crushed and pressed within the hour. Must clarification by flotation and fermentation in steel tanks at
controlled temperature of 16–17ºC for 4 weeks. The wine remained with it’s fine lees for 3 months in steel
tanks.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Perfect with fish dishes, seafood, salads and vegetables. Serve at 9°C / 48ºF.
